Fred Bays, Chief Operating Officer
In January 2009, with Delphi’s unprecedented growth, Fred Bays stepped up to the newly created Chief Operating Officer position, applying his managerial expertise to lead the day to day workings of Delphi’s core business departments. He brings a wide range of healthcare and management experience to the company. Known for his critical thinking and analytical abilities, Fred has designed many unique staffing models in the arena of contract healthcare. Since David Joyce’s purchase of Medstaff in 2001 and subsequent founding of Delphi Healthcare Partners, Fred has been responsible for the organization’s finances. As COO, Fred continues to oversee Finance, and also Physician Recruitment, Credentialing, Accounting, Risk Management, Corporate Facilities and Operations.
