MORRISVILLE, NC – February 10, 2009 — David L. Joyce, CEO and President of Delphi Healthcare Partners, Inc. has announced the promotion of Fred A. Bays to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer for the company. Joyce states: “With Delphi’s unprecedented growth during the last year, it became important to expand the managerial responsibilities of the executive team to provide increased hands-on leadership for the day to day workings of Delphi’s core business departments. Fred has been invaluable in providing strategic leadership and guidance to the organization and brings a wide range of healthcare and management experience to the new role.” Since the founding of Delphi Healthcare Partners in 2001, Bays has been responsible for the organization’s finances. As COO, Bays will continue to manage the Corporate Finance team and will also oversee the Physician Recruitment, Credentialing, Accounting, Corporate Facilities, and Operations teams.
